ICDAS, producing steel bars and high alloy steels since 1970, is the biggest “private sector” steel producer in Turkey based on production capacity.

According to the Istanbul Chamber of Industry assessment, it is ranked in the 15th place among Turkey’s top 500 enterprises in 2005, 13th in 2006, 10th in 2007 and 8th in 2008. Also, ICDAS ranked 13th in 2005, 11th in 2006, 14th in 2007 and 9th place in 2008 among the “Leading exporters of Turkey”. İÇDAŞ A.Ş. has nearly 10.000 employees, when the Group’s affiliated companies are taken into consideration. The company is currently pursuing its production activities in Istanbul and Çanakkale.
