Our company provides services in Çanakkale-Biga and Istanbul-Güneşli with its ICDAS Steel, Energy, Shipbuilding and Transportation Industry Inc., Steel Plants, Rolling Mills, Harbours, Logistics Company, Shipyards and Energy Plants.   ICDAS, who exports most of its production to foreign countries, has assumed an important role in Turkey`s integration with the modern world with its sense of quality and advanced technology.

The company has an integrated plant situated by the waterfront of the Marmara Sea,  in the Biga region of Canakkale, approximately 40 kilometres away from the centre of the city.   There is a harbour made up of 2 piers and docks for  shipping and unloading and a Coal Plant at its shipbuilding yard.  ICDAS has built a Closed Cycle Water Cooling System with Dry Heat Units to avoid water wastage.   The water is processed chemically.  Despite the fact that electrical energy is used for production,  ICDAS has also built a filtering system for the dust and smoke that appears in the other stages of production.

In addition,  ICDAS has taken serious preventative measures to avoid the use of radioactive materials in its production, with consideration of risks to the environment and people`s health.  With this aim; all relevant personnel are subjected to mandatory periodic training at the Turkey Atomic Energy Institution.   Wreckage and scraps, the most important raw materials used in production, are scanned by radiation detection devices with 6 permanent door detectors and 6 portative detectors when they arrive to our company from national and international suppliers.
 

In the area of logistics, which presents great importance for business enterprises, Steel Centres have been established in the areas of İstanbul, Ankara, Bursa, Kayseri, Konya and Bandırma.  Thus, it has been enabled for our products to be procured where they are needed at the time they are needed.
 
With the services of our Steel Centres, the demands of our customers for products and the demands of our suppliers for the delivery of raw materials are met in the shortest time period.

Our investments in the areas of Combined Transportation (the form of transportation which includes railway, seaway and inner waterway routes and where the beginning or end route includes short distance land routes) with the aim of contributing to the development of environmental transportation and railway transportation, began in 2007 with the manufacture of 104 railroad wagons by the company TÜLOMSAŞ.

Our investments continue and an important part of our national and international deliveries are made by railway after renting railroad wagons from TCDD in addition to our current 104 railroad wagon capacity.  Our team, who have a lot of experience in the railroad wagon industry, work towards the satisfaction of customers and suppliers by using an important part of the Turkish railway network.

Icdas has allocated Employee Lodgings for its workforce. There are also social facilities within the Lodgings for our employees and their families.
