TERMINAL INFORMATION
İÇDAŞ Port Management, with the investments made for technological & backyard equipments in the last 3 years, target to minimize the length of stay in the port which seen as dead time to Shipowner and Ship Operators.
At İÇDAŞ port, there are two piers and a wharf. The total berthing area in port is 1.655 metres. The İÇDAŞ Port can
accommodate 12 to 20 vessels at the same time, depending on the size of the vessels.
Also, there is a 1105 meters long breakwater to protect the port from north-easterly winds and the waves.

İÇDAŞ Port 2 has one pier which has 624 m berthing area in total. Having minimum draught of 27 metres makes our facility to become one of the largest terminal which accomodate dry bulk carriers in Turkey.

Port Meteorological data published online in order to provide our customer's to receive information about the area from a distance of thousands of miles.
VTS - VESSEL TRAFFIC SERVICE will be built in order to follow ships at port during operations, and to provide a much more safe traffic scheme within the port limits.
As İÇDAŞ Port Authority, built a new tug boat for our Pilotage and Tugboat Company in March 2012 which has 65 ton bollard pull and constructed at İÇDAŞ shipyard to serve fast and reliable. Our Pilotage and Tugboat Company which serving since 2002 has 6 experienced pilots, 1 x 65 ton and 2 x 38 ton 3 tug boats, 1 pilot boats and 2 mooring boats 2.
Heliport established for the purpose of intervention and transportation in case of emergency for both İÇDAŞ PORT 1 and İÇDAŞ PORT 2.

As a result of applications and providing a new building for custom directorate; custom service for whole region is in force apart from import and exporters in the region has custom service for İÇDAŞ Port Operations.
There are high quality Trellex fenders provided with all docks, which enable the vessels to berth with maximum safety. Approximately 7500 TEU's containers can be stored on the concrete floored area of 100.000 m2 in the port facility. With this capacity, the port has the largest container and general cargo stock area in the region.

PILOTAGE SERVICES
We have been providing pilotage services in the Karabiga Harbour Master area since 2002 and offering the highest quality service for 24 hours a day, with our seven experienced pilots who know the area extremely well. Beside 1 Pilot bot and 2 mooring boats, We have a new Dutch made tug boats of A+1 class, each supplies 2720 horse power and 38 tons BP capacity, suitable for all kinds of marine towage jobs, are the plain indicators that we shall never make concessions from our quality.
